Together with ZUS COFFEE, FatHopes Energy launched our first-ever cafe collaboration for a Used Cooking Oil (UCO) collection drive at Seventeen Mall.
The idea was simple:
✅ Recycle your used cooking oil (UCO)
✅ Download the FatHopes Loyalty App
✅ Enjoy a FREE cup of ZUS Coffee
The response exceeded our expectations.
In just one morning, we welcomed 100+ new app users, served 100+ cups of ZUS Coffee, and collected over 300 kg+ of used cooking oil from the community.
Every litre of used cooking oil collected is more than just waste diverted from drains and landfills. It becomes a valuable feedstock for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), helping transform everyday household waste into a cleaner future for aviation.
By recycling more than 300 kg+ of used cooking oil, this initiative helped prevent an estimated 900 kg of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to the annual carbon absorption of approximately 42 mature trees*. while reducing dependence on fossil-based fuels through circular resource recovery.
This collaboration shows that sustainability doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, it starts with something as familiar as a cup of coffee and a simple decision to recycle.
A huge thank you to ZUS Coffee, Seventeen Mall, COOX and everyone who joined us and made this initiative a success. Together, we’re proving that small everyday actions can create meaningful environmental impact.
